Ein Spatz schaut neugierig vom Rand des Nistkastendaches zum Einflugloch, in dem der Star verschwunden und eifrig beschäftigt ist.

Der Star streckt den Kopf aus dem Nistkastenhaus, Frau Holle gleich, die die Betten aufschüttelt, wirft er mit viel Elan die Nestüberbleibsel des Vormieters aus seinem Haus, ein vertrocknetes Gras-Moosgemisch. Kleine Partikel des Nestmaterials segeln durch die Luft.

Wieder ist der Kopf des Stars zu sehen, dieses Mal mit weit geöffnetem Schnabel. Dem vorbeifliegenden Partner/der Partnerin werden in schneller Abfolge Signale übermittelt.

Hoping my dad drops by for a visit. It's time to open up about my gender-fluid journey. Been planning this chat for a while now.

He's always been supportive of LGBTQIA+ folks, so I'm optimistic. Love him tons, and I know he loves me too. Here's to authentic living!

Fingers crossed it all goes smoothly. Unlike that surprise visit from mom, I want this one on my terms.
