Anna Saultron<p>13.12.2024 What would the opposite of a common celebration in your world look like (e.g. the opposite of Halloween, anti-birthday, etc.)?</p><p>Hm birthday celebrations are common in my universe and so is Union Founding. So anti birthday seems easy, instead of a cake and a nice meal the food contains entirely out of emergency rations and the horrible survival chocolate. No matter the universe or time an equivalent of this stuff seems to exist everywhere. Stuff that make you survive but question if you really want to eat it.<br>Most people will have an angry hang over attitude, no one's talking.</p><p>Unions founding opposite what could that be?🤔</p><p>A one day thing where everyone has to do their paperwork. Like US Taxes are portrait in media. Everyone is unnerved by the circumstances and of course it's cold raining outside.<br>People just nodding to each other instead of greeting properly. She wore a strapless yellow sundress and a not-so-floppy straw hat that wouldn't interfere with her sight lines in the wooded municipal park. She also brought her two most experienced bodyguards. </p><p>She was meeting with "Sunset Park," the Doña's chief lieutenant for the borough of Sunset Park. They were meeting to figure out why their boss was mucking with the mob's business, making the tensions between gangs worse. </p><p>South Park brought two of her bodyguards and a utensil wrapped in a purple satin napkin. Not a napkin, a ripped shirt from a rival gang. She unrolled it to reveal a knife. </p><p>It looked like the hunting knife the MC had slashed the Doña's assassin with. She'd tried but kill him, but he was in the hospital now, in the protection of the constabulary. </p><p>[Author retains copyright (c)2024 R.S.]</p><p><a href="https://eldritch.cafe/tags/BoostingIsSharing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BoostingIsSharing</span></a> and <a href="https://eldritch.cafe/tags/CommentingIsCool" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>CommentingIsCool</span></a></p><p><a href="https://eldritch.cafe/tags/fiction" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>fiction</span></a> <a href="https://eldritch.cafe/tags/writer" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>writer</span></a> <a href="https://eldritch.cafe/tags/writers" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>writers</span></a> <a href="https://eldritch.cafe/tags/author" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>author</span></a> <br><a href="https://eldritch.cafe/tags/mystery" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>mystery</span></a> <a href="https://eldritch.cafe/tags/thriller" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>thriller</span></a> <a href="https://eldritch.cafe/tags/fantasy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>fantasy</span></a><br><a href="https://eldritch.cafe/tags/writing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>writing</span></a> <a href="https://eldritch.cafe/tags/writingcommunity" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>writingcommunity</span></a> <a href="https://eldritch.cafe/tags/writersOfMastodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>writersOfMastodon</span></a> <br><a href="https://eldritch.cafe/tags/RSdiscussion" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>RSdiscussion</span></a> <br><a href="https://eldritch.cafe/tags/microfiction" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>microfiction</span></a> <a href="https://eldritch.cafe/tags/flashfiction" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>flashfiction</span></a></p>

It has increased since her last near death experience.<br>The amount of EQuil (the unrefined Enzyme Printer Liquid or simply put a food synthesizer) she drinks also tends to jump up in stress situation if she can't train properly.
